UF’s 2016 Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition winner presented her research at the regional competition on Saturday, March 4.
Medical Sciences Ph.D. student Andrea Lin showcased her research, titled “Immunotherapy for Treatment of Type 1 Diabetes,” for a large audience of educators and students from dozens of other universities during the annual Conference of Southern Graduate Schools (CSGS) in Annapolis, Maryland.
The UF Graduate School would like to thank Andrea for her hard work and to congratulate her again for advancing to the regional competition.
3MT is a research presentation competition wherein students from every discipline have the opportunity to present their work in three minutes or less for a lay audience. It is designed to require students to present their research quickly and efficiently for judges and audience members who may not be experts in their particular field.
The UF 2017 3MT competition will be held in the fall, and registration will open in late summer. For more information on the competition, please visit our 3MT® page.
