Graduate School Doctoral Dissertation Award

The University of Florida (UF) Graduate School Doctoral Dissertation Completion Award is a competitive, need based award program to provide final stage funding over an approximate period of 4-6 months for UF PhD candidates who have exhausted all other avenues of support and have received no funding for either a previous fall or spring term. This support will allow recipients the time and resources to focus exclusively on their dissertation through defense, final clearance, and graduation.

The award provides up to $15,000, and up to 5 credit hours of in-state tuition and fee assistance. Successful applicants may receive funds over the course of Spring, Summer and Fall semesters.

The application cycle for Summer C 2020, Summer C + Fall 2020, and Fall 2020 is closed. Please check back for future terms.
