McNair Graduate Assistantship Program
The McNair Graduate Assistantship Program was created to provide one year transitional support for students who have successfully completed the McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program as undergraduates. UF provides a limited number of research assistantships for McNair Scholars who are entering a PhD program at this institution. This assistantship program provides a base stipend of $12,000, in-state tuition, fees and health insurance for up to five years. As part of the program, each student will be appointed to a research assistant and expected to conduct research under faculty supervision.
Interested students who meet the eligibility requirements are invited to apply. Please find the application form at: McNair Assistantship 2017 Application (Deadline: April 24, 2017).
Please note: the application must include an official letter from the applicant’s undergraduate McNair Scholars Program director stating that the student was/is in good standing with the program.
