Travel Funding

Travel to conferences, symposia and special research opportunities is essential to your academic and professional development as a graduate student engaged in research, and there are resources on campus to help you take advantage of it.

The UF Office of Research (OR) and the UF Division of Sponsored Programs (DSP) offer travel funding for graduate students. The UF Graduate Student Council offers travel grants to help graduate students attend conferences and present their research. For more information, applications and deadlines, click on the above link.

The UF Center for European Studies (CES) offers annual competitions for graduate student travel grants to assist UF graduate students with travel to Europe to pursue dissertation research, or to present work at a scholarly conference or workshop. These grants are open to all UF graduate students regardless of discipline as long as the subject of the research or talk is related to contemporary Europe.
