Patricia Van Wert

Associate Director · Admissions and Transfer Credit

Patricia Van Wert is Associate Director on the Admissions and Transfer Credit team within the University of Florida Graduate School.

After 13 years working as a supervisor in the private sector, she began her UF career in 2006 at its College of Public Health and Health Professions, managing academic programs, accreditation, admissions, and overall student experiences.

She moved to the Graduate School in 2016 to supervise the Graduate Student Records team, working directly with faculty, staff, and students at every stage of the graduate student career: admissions, program monitoring, record evaluations, credit transfers, and degree certification each semester. She now works on its Admissions and Transfer Credit team, focusing on review of conditional and special exception petitions and transfer of course credit from other higher education institutions.

Her interests including baking, writing poetry and lyrics, running, and cycling.
